AS PART of activities marking its fifth anniversary celebration, the management and staff of Pink FM held a Holy Mass at the station’s premises to thank God for His support and protection throughout the station’s five years in operation.

The Holy Mass which brought together some dignitaries from the Kasoa Police Service, Ghana Revenue Authority, Kasoa branch and a host of others was  officiated   by Rev. Father Mintah of St. Martyrs Catholic Church, Kasoa, Rev Father Andrews of St Michael Parish,  Rev Father Agyei  and Reverend Bernard Adjei Appiah of Saint Martin’s Senior High School, Nsawam.

The Chief Executive Officer of Pink FM, Gordon Addai Baffour Goodman used the occasion to assure listeners of better programming and that the station would operate on a 5k transmission soon.

He said the station has grown within the past five years with some of its programmes becoming the industry’s benchmark.

He cautioned the presenters of the station to realize at all times the impact of spoken words and ensure that the airwaves are not used to create disunity among the people.

The Crime Officer of Kasoa Police, ASP Moses Naa, on his part, thanked the station for the development it has brought to the people of Kasoa and for helping to ease crime rate in the region. He however appealed to other radio stations in the country to follow suit by bringing development to their communities.
