Muntari’s return has divided opinions

Fans of the Black Stars have expressed varied views on Sulley Muntari’s apology letter to head coach Kwesi Appiah for his disrespectful act after June’s World Cup qualifier.

The AC Milan ace, who was furious for being hooked in the second half of the 2-0 win over Lesotho in Maseru, confronted Appiah in the dressing room after the match.

He came off the pitch throwing tantrums and using foul language to the coach and his staff.

Muntari refused to join his teammates on the substitutes bench and walked straight into the locker room.

Some followers of the team are doubting the honesty and sincerity of his letter.

Smoking Columbia posted his view by saying: ‘Hahahaha: that’s my man. He just hates defeat and he is ball gb33 (dog in Ga). He is a great tackler, dribbler, excellent left feet but his big problem is huge ego especially when things are now not going in Ghan’s favour. Still love him’

‘This is all we need from you Hadjia Kandeys son,’ George said.

Another fan Sam Praise posted that:’So so proud of you big bro, may this act turn to a good grace on your career!’

Nazo: ‘That is where complacency and divisions comes in because of selfish people like him,he is just pretending.’

Donking also said: ‘Don’t believe this. This is a forged letter. Sulley hasn’t written anything.’
