Ebenezer Aidoo is back to Medeama



Medeama returnee Ebenezer Aidoo says he is grateful to be back at the club after a six-month absence.

The 30-year-old has been appointed as a member of the club’s communication team after he was suspended indefinitely.

The ambitious journalist says he is grateful with the opportunity to serve the Mauves and Yellows once again.

‘I am very grateful to be back to the team. I thank the Board, President, management, technical staff, playing body and the fans for their support,’ Aidoo told GHANAsoccernet.com

‘It’s a priviledge to serve this great club and I hope to bring all my expertise on board to ensure we become successful.

‘The support that I have received from everybody who matter at the club has been tremendous and I’m extremely humbled to be back.’

Aidoo has been working in the media for eight years and was a former head of sports for Takoradi-based Kyzz FM.

He had his Senior Secondary School Education at Prempeh College in Kumasi and did a National Certificate Course for Trainee Journalist (NCTJ) in London 2006.

He has previously worked with Blumint Media in the UK to secure Adidas sponsorship deals for some Ghanaian players notably John Paintsil.

Aidoo has worked with Ben TV in the UK and a sports panelist with ABSC Sports.

He has garnered experience from covering two Fifa World Cup finals and five Africa Cup of Nations finals as a journalist.

He is currently a third year-student at the Tarkwa University of Mines and Technology  where he is studying mining engineering.
