Hon. Owusu was commenting on recent comments of Dr Wereko Brobbey against the party.nDr Wereko Brobbey was suspended for exhibiting behaviour and making comments that, according to the party, put its name into disrepute.
Dr Wereko Brobbey made derogatory remarks through several publications about the party’s decision to challenge the outcome of the 2012 Presidential Election at the Supreme Court.
During proceedings at the Supreme Court, he described Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, as “clueless and confused” when he (Bawumia) was being led in evidence in the witness box.
In his recent comment, he has asked Ghanaians not to believe the NPP when they talk about peace because ‘they talk peace but prepare for war’
Speaking on the ‘Kokrokoo’ Morning Show On Thursday, Ursula Owusu stated that it is better to avoid Dr. Wereko Brobbey because “If you listen to most of his comments over the period, it seems like he has an agenda”
“We should just pay deaf ears to him otherwise it will lead to insults and use of harsh words against him. As a founding father he was supposed to unite party members and avoid bringing everything to the public domain – however, that is not what he is doing and so it is better to avoid him,” she added.
