The appointment of Sarpong markes another chapter in the illustrious life of Aduana since winning the Premier League as debutants four seasons ago.

The new coach is now preaching unity in his bid to return the club as title challengers in the upcoming season.

‘The coach had a cordial meeting with his technical staff, the playing body and officials,’ Aduana’s operations director George Gyawu told GHANAsoccernet.com.

‘He asked for the total support and told them with absolute unity the team will be a difficult side to beat in the upcoming season.

‘The meetings were very successful and I believe the coach is now all set to hit the ground running.’

J.E Sarpong will be assited by the person he replaced Kwaben Ameyaw who was in the saddle on interim basis.

He will play his first competitive game on September 15 when he leads his side against defending champions Asante Kotoko.
