In preparation for life in the Ghana top-flight, Inter Allies have named renowned sports journalist Mohammed Alhassan as its Public/Media Relations Officer.

Mr. Alhassan, who worked as the sports editor for Radio Gold for nearly a decade, has been appointed to boost the image of the club.

‘The management of Inter Allies wishes to announce the appointment of renowned sports journalist and businessman Mohammed Alhassan as the club’s Public/Media Relations Officer,’ a statement signed by the club’s CEO Delali Senaye read.

‘Mr. Alhassan who has over ten years of media experience would be in charge of human relations, communications and Marketing of Inter Allies FC with immediate effect.

‘His appointment forms part of the club’s professionalism as we hope to lift the image of our team in the Premier league in Ghana.’

Alhassan, who co-owns the weekly sports newspaper the Weekly Sports, will use his experience in the sports industry to boost the operations of the burgeoning club.

With the league scheduled to start from next use month, he is expected to deal with media inquiries as well as questions from the public and business groups.

Despite being their first foray into the Ghana top-flight, Inter Allies have been in the game for a while and it is managed by young and astute businessmen with huge interest in the game.
