President Mahama Receives US Secretary Of Navy

The United States Government has offered to assist Ghana and the West Africa sub-region in confronting illegal activities along the Gulf of Guinea.

President Mahama noted that this will further enhance similar initiatives by the Gulf of Guinea Commission aimed at curtailing maritime piracy in the territorial waters of members.

President Mahama was interacting with the U.S. Secretary for the Navy, Ray Mabus, at Flagstaff House.
