Parents Express Worry Over UTAG Strike

Workers, especially parents of wards preparing for admission into higher institutions of learning have expressed worry about the continued sit down strike of UTAG and teachers of other institutions.

They have therefore appealed to teachers to rescind their decision and return to the lecture halls.

The Executive Secretary for the Coalition of Parents of Private students, Dr. Simon Gbene, has called on UTAG and government to solve the problems as early as possible for the students to go to school.

He said the children do not deserve any punishment, because they have not committed any offence.
