Oheneba Kasempa Enterprise gives to Osu Children’s Home

The Management of Oheneba Kasempa Enterprises (OKE), producers of Abe Nsuo alcoholic beverage, has presented items worth GH¢ 20,000 to the Osu Children’s Home in Accra.

The items were one jumbo-size water tank, two flat screen computers, bags of detergents and toiletries, lactogen baby food and milk, exercise books, school bags, pampers, 10 bags of rice, assorted fruits and cooking oil.

The gesture was in fulfilment of a promise the management of the company made to support the well-being of the children.

At a short ceremony in Accra the Chief Executive Officer of Oheneba Kasempa Enterprise, Mr Alex Yaw Tenkorang, said his enterprise had made it its objective to support the Osu Children’s Home every year.

He said the enterprise had devoted a certain percentage of its annual income for the Osu Children’s Home for the upkeep of the children.

Receiving the items on behalf of the home, the Assistant Supervisor, Madam Kpedekpo Annie, thanked the  Oheneba Kasempa Enterprise for the gesture and gave an assurance that the items would be used for its intended purpose.

She mentioned inadequate staffing, drugs and lack of funds to cater for the children as some of the challenges facing the Osu Children’s Home.

Madam Annie appealed to organisation to support the children,  in cash and kind.
