Ghanaian trio Sulley Muntari, Kevin-Prince Boateng and Memphis Depay were all involved PSV Eindhoven’s highly-entertaining 1-1 home draw with AC Milan in the Uefa Champions League play-off on Tuesday night.

All three players started the game at PSV’s Philips Stadion with former Dutch international Philip Cocu naming the 19-year-old Depay in his starting eleven.

But midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng limped off in the 83rd minute after he was hustled by a PSV defender in the 82nd minute after a tussle on the ball.

Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri handed starting places to midfielder Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng as the Rossoneris tried to emphasize their dominance over the Dutch side at their own backyard.

Stefan El Shaarawy gave Milan a 15th minute lead with a sensational finish following an Ignazio Abate assist.

PSV came strongly into the game after the break and pecked the scoring through Slovenian midfielder Tim Matavž on the hour mark after Milan keeper Christian Abbiati failed to handle a piledriver from Jeffrey Bruma.

Milan created a host of glorious opportunities but Stefan El Shaarawy failed to convert.
