Ghanaian Kingsley Boateng wants to excel in his loan stint at Catania to grab worldwide attention.
The 19-year-old joined the Rossazzurri on the season’-long loan deal from AC Milan on Monday.
Boateng joined Catania moments after signing a contract extension with the Rossoneri.
The Ghanaian was in the company of Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani and Pablo Cosentino (the Catania Vice President) when signing the loan contract reportedly worth 2.4m Euros.
The striker admits it is tough leaving Milan but looks to take full advantage of the opportunity offered by the loan move to Catania.
‘For me it is not easy to leave my comrades in the Spring but it is a great opportunity,’ he said.
‘I want to show my qualities in Catania and get noticed. ‘
