Wereko-Brobbey To Appear Before Commission Of Enquiry

Former CEO of the Volta River Authority (VRA) Dr. Wereko-Brobbey will make an appearance before the commission of inquiry into judgment debts and other related matters.

In attendance would be the Inspector General of Police, the Solicitor General and the Attorney General.

The commission has been mandated by the President to investigate the payment of judgment debts.

At the commission’s last sitting, the Sole Commissioner Justice Yaw Appau condemned a former IGP Paul Tawiah Quaye for sanctioning seven police officers in the Central Region over a confrontation with a Former Deputy Minister for Interior in the Mills’ administration Kobby Acheampong.

It is not clear what questions Dr. Wereko-Brobbey who has indicated his readiness to appear before the commission is expected to answer.
