Kennedy Ashia Wants To Thrive At Norwegian Side Sk Brann

Ghana youth international Kennedy Ashia is determined to excel at Norwegian side SK Brann.

Ashia has joined the European outfit on a six-month loan deal from Liberty Professionals.

The youngster has arrived in Norway to begin his professional career abroad and he believes he has the aces to thrive in the new environment.

‘I am happy to be here, and I’m excited about how it is to work with the Fire for the first time,’ Ashia told the club’s official website

‘My greatest strength as a player is that I score goals. I was the second top scorer for my club last season in Ghana with 14 goals in 25 matches and I will do the same for Brann.

‘I prefer to play a role offensively in midfield, but I’ll leave it to the coach to decide how he wants to use me.’

Ashia, who was a member of Ghana’s Under-20 bronze winning team at this year’s FIFA World Youth Championship in Turkey, held his first training session with his new club on Monday.
