Ghana midfielder Mohammed Rabiu has signed a three-year contract with Russian side Kuban Krasnodar, MTNFootball.com can confirm.

The 23-year-old will arrive in Russia on Tuesday to undergo medical and complete the move reported to be around €3 million.

‘I have signed for three years and agreed personal terms as for the money involved that is not my business,’ Rabiu exclusively told MTNFootball.com

‘I’m ready to play in Russia and want to thank the Evian fans, coaches and players for their support.’

Kuban Krasnodar are currently ninth in the Russian Premier League table after five rounds of matches.

Rabiu’s future was speculated after an impressive display at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations where he made his debut.

He made 29 appearances for his former side Evian TG and scored two goals last season in the French Ligue 1.
