Dutch-born Ghanaian winger Edwin Gyasi has switched from FC Twente to join Matthew Amoah and Kwame Quansah at Heracles Almelo, GHANAsoccernet.com exclusively reveal. 

The 22-year-old failed to secure regular playing at Twente after English manager Steve McClaren left the club last season.

Heracles manager Jan de Jonge who is long-standing admirer of the former AZ Alkmaar youth team player decided to sign the gifted the attacker who had resolved to leave the club.

Gyasi made his debut for Heracles on Sunday afternoon, coming off the bench as a 71st minute substitute in their 4-2 win over Heerenveen at the Polman Stadion.

Striker Matthew Amoah was handed a starting role but was replaced in the after just 37 minutes because of  an injury while midfielder Kwame Quansah lasted the entire duration of the game for Heracles.

Heracles recorded their first win of the new season but are still languishing in the relegation zone because of points deduction.
