DR Congo failed to turn up for Sunday’s FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Ghana in Accra.
The Black Maidens reported onto the Accra Sports Stadium but their opponents could not be found.
The match referee was forced to call-off of the fixture.
FIFA is expected to rule on no-show by the Congolese who earlier last week wrote to CAF requesting that the match be rescheduled because technical challenges.
The winner of the two-legged tie will advance to the final round where six teams grouped into three.
They would play one another in a two-leg tie with the eventual three winners advancing to the Under-17 World Cup to be held in Costa Rica in March, 2014.
