Egypt: Alexandria Clashes Leave Several Dead

Alexandria’s ambulance authority head, Amr Nasr, said that at least 21 were killed in Alexandria on Friday.

Nasr added that 101 were injured in clashes, 23 of whom were shot dead.

Ambulances transported the 21 bodies to Kom al-Dekka Morgue, Nasr said.

There is another unspecified number of bodies that have not been taken to the morgue yet, he added.

He explained that ambulances transported 44 wounded people to hospitals, including the 23 who were shot.
