Torino manager Giampiero Ventura has left out highly-rated Ghanaian youth prospect Emmanuel Gyasi out of his 2013/14 squad for the Italian Serie A.
The 19-year-old was the brightest spot in the Torino Primavera side last season after shouldering the side to reach the semi-finals of the 2012/14 primavera league.
Gyasi claimed the all-important goal for Il Toro as they eliminated Inter Milan at the semi-finals.
Manager Giampiero Ventura allowed Gyasi to train with the side during pre-season but has left him out of the club’s official squad for the upcoming season.
He will remain with the Torino Primavera but might be called up for the club’s Coppa Italia games.
