Big scouts watch Solomon Asante
Top European agents watched winger Solomon Asante in Ghana’s international friendly against Turkey on Wednesday, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Big named agents from Spain, Belgium and France were at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul to see the 22-year-old in action for the Black Stars against the Southeastern Europeans.
The pocket-size wing merchant has been on the transfer cards of various European clubs while TP Mazembe who own the talented youngster have rejected a couple of bids.
English Premiership side Stoke City have maintained their interest and sent their scout to travel to Turkey to watch him in action.
French Ligue 1 sides Bordeaux and Sochaux all had their scouts in the stands while Anderlecht and Club Brugge also had their scouts present.
Asante’s performance for both club and country in recent games has generated huge interest around and he is expected to make a move to mainland Europe in the coming season.
