Dwarfs are close to signing Kofi Mensah from Tema Youth

Ebusua Dwarfs will complete the signing of goalkeeper Kofi Mensah from Tema Youth, according to reports in the local media.

Dwarfs are on the market shopping for a replacement for Adade Foli who is likely to leave the club.

Officials in Cape Coast have held fruitful discussions with Youth Sporting Director Wilfried Osei Palmer and the goalkeeper would officially become a Dwarfs player next week.

Mensah will become Dwarfs first major signing of the season if the deal is tied up early next week.

The Mysterious club are also likely to sign another keeper as back-up for Mensah as former Ghana international goalkeeper Patrick Antwi is likely to quit after failure to resolve his differences with the management.

Antwi walked off the pitch during Dwarfs’ international club friendly against Mamelodi Sundowns at the Robert Mensah Stadium after he got boos and jeers from the fans for conceding an easy goal.

Adade Foli, whose contract is set to run out, has been flirting with Hearts and Medeama SC and will probably join one of them.

Hearts failed in their bid to sign Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams and have turned their attention to Foli who has gone AWOL from Dwarfs’ camp.
