Ghana U20 winger Frank Sarfo Gyamfi has opened talks with Asante Kotoko over a loan move from Maritzburg United.

The 19-year-old has obtained permission to leave the South African top flight side to the team of his choice for a year following an injury plagued season last term.

The former Wa All Stars player is already in Ghana to negotiate a deal to join a Ghanaian Premier League club.

It has however emerged that though the player is open to offers from all quarters; he has opened talks with Asante Kotoko.

The Premier League champions want to add some more quality to strengthen their team ahead of their title defence and also on their return to the CAF Champions League.

Talks at this point, is at an initial stage but is set to take full flight by the weekend.

Sarfo Gyamfi will become the fourth confirmed signing of the Porcupine Warriors this off-season if the deal goes through.
