United States film industry, Hollywood and Rwanda’s Hillywood have teamed up to produce a film that’ll tell the story of Rwanda’s liberation war.
The movie ‘Before and After’ will tell the story of the Rwanda Liberation struggle which lasted from 1990- 1994, a period which was one of the darkest moments in the country’s history with over a million people killed in the genocide against the Tutsi people.
According to Hillywood’s Eric Kabera, the film which is presently in its development stage focuses on the struggle to liberate Rwanda, and is also meant for future generations to know how the Rwanda Patriotic Army/Front liberated Rwandans from darkness.
The film which will be the first indigenous African war movie told by Rwandans, will be produced by American film and the
atre producer Adam Leipzig, along with Kabera.
