Andre and Jordan Ayew have officially notified Olympique Marseille of their decision to return to the Black Stars.

The two brothers slapped in letters to withdraw their services from the Ghana national team for varied reasons earlier this year.

The duo have however announced their decision to return following meetings with Ghana President John Mahama and the Asantehene.

Both players are however yet to make their decision official by writing to the Ghana FA over their intended return.

Spokesman for the two players, Fiifi Tackie has however confirmed they have notified their club Marseille of their decision to return to international football.

This was made necessary as the French club will now know their players are available for national team selection but must do same with the Ghana FA to seal their return.

“They have informed Marseille officially that they have rescinded their decision not to play for the national team and will be available whenever they are called,” Tackie told Anigye FM.

“Marseille is ever ready to release the players whenever there is a call up.”

The Ayews have indicated their willingness to write letters to the Ghana FA to retract their earlier decision to quit the national team albeit temporary.
