Singer Ofie Kodjoe got long rounds of applause when she performed at the first Okuapeman Jazz Festival held last Saturday, August 10 at the Palm Hill Hotel, Akropong-Akwapim.

It was a well-attended event and Ofie confidently wowed everyone with her powerful voice.

The lady moved appropriately on the stage and pleasantly communicated with the audience between her strings of well-executed contemporary as well as classic jazz pieces.

Ofie, who is one of the judges on the ongoing MTN Hit-Maker talent contest, danced Azonto at some point in her performance, perhaps to send out a message that jazz has the capacity to take in all sorts of rhythms and movements.

Other performers at the show were the New Vision Borborbor Group, King Ayisoba, Felix Owusu, Koo Nimo and George Darko.
