Guest presenter and co-host on the capital’s entertainment dial, Hitz FM, Marigold Baffour has passed on.

The bubbly radio personality died Saturday morning while on admission at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Family sources said, Marigold, 27, had been unwell for the past few weeks. She complained of severe stomachache last week prompting doctors to move her to the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital.

Friday night the condition deteriorated and she reported of numbing headache. Marigold passed away the next morning, according to family sources.

The actual cause of her death is still unknown. Medical personnel at hospital are, however, set to conduct a postmortem on her.

“OOhhhh Marigold Baffour , you left this world without telling me your birth date friend. I still remember your sweet and welcoming smile when we last met. If i knew you would be gone from this world so soon, i would have spent a lot more time to talk and laugh with you.

“We shared wonderful dates together:same birth date 9th July and now on a day am supposed to be happiest for my little sister who just got married, you chose to leave for heaven. I will always miss you especially when i walk through the doors of Hitzfm. But rest assured, if there is heaven, then you are definitely there too by the side of the almighty because you are such an angel. Rest peacefully Marigold Baffour,” Francis Afropaddy said.
