Adomah, Banahene Withdrawn From Ghana Squad To Face Turkey On Wednesday

Two members of Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah's 21-man group to face Turkey in Wednesday's match have been withdrawn, the Ghana FA has reported.

Two members of Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah’s 21-man group to face Turkey in Wednesday’s match have been withdrawn, the Ghana FA has reported.

According to the report on the Ghana FA’s website, Albert Adomah and Emmanuel Banahene would not be part of the Black Stars for the game at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium due to varying reasons.

Sanliurfaspor striker Banahene, who has handed his debut call up will not be ready in Istanbul due to injury.

Adomah has been excused to help him settle at his new club Middlesbrough.

The withdrawal of both players leaves Kwesi Appiah with 19 players for the game.
