Winger Erixon Danso netted twice for Dordrecht who cruised to a convincing 4-1 win over Achilles ’29 in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on Saturday.
The 24-year-old former Netherlands youth star put his side in the lead twice in the first half after scoring the opener in the 33rd minute before restoring the lead five minutes before the break after the host had equalised.
Dordrecht needed the maximum points from the game to ensure their continuous stay at the summit of the table and Danso made sure they went into the first half with a 2-1 lead before they returned after the interval wrap up their win.
He overpowered three Achilles defenders with an amazing physique and forced a low drive home to register the opening goal at the Sportpark De Heikant.
Their celebration was short-lived after the hosts equalised but he scored again in the 40th minute to restore their lead.
