Ebusua Dwarfs have set up their pre-season training camp in Takoradi – weeks to the proposed start date of the Ghana Premier League season.
A list of 32 players led by assistant coach Rashid arrived at the team camping base in Takoradi on Friday evening.
All the players took a mandatory club medical the following day after which full scale training resumed.
Head coach Professor J.K Mintah is away on national team duty with the Black Stars and was thus unable to travel with the team.
He is however expected to join the rest of his coaching staff to take charge of all pre-season activities when he returns from Turkey next week.
Dwarfs are looking to extend their impressive 4th place finish last season this term which qualified them as one of two representatives of Ghana in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.
The Ghana Premier League season has been set to start on September 15 but this proposed date must receive approval by the Ghana FA’s Congress later on this month.
