Top Oil Company Limited, a wholly indigenous oil marketing company, has opened a new fuel station at Aburi in the Eastern Region.
This brings to 42 the number of fuel and gas stations owned by the company. The new station becomes the sixth being operated by the oil marketing firm in the region.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Ben Atsu-Agbomanyi, said the indigenous oil marketing frim would continue to delight its customers with the provision of efficient and unadulterated fuel.
He said the company would ensure that it established strong, long-term, mutually beneficial contractual relationships with customers and suppliers in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
“We aspire to be represented in all the district capitals of the country, to bring petroleum products close to economic activities in the urban and rural communities before stepping beyond the boundaries of Ghana.”
He said since the company’s formation, it had strictly adhered to industry regulations to ensure customer satisfaction – including providing additional facilities where possible to give a one-stop shop and auxiliary services to customers.
Mr Atsu-Agbomanyi said drivers who bought at the station would enjoy services such as uninterrupted supply of fuel, serving of the right quantity purchased as well as clean, well-filtered fuel which would not harm cars and the environment.
The Aburihene, Nana Otoobour Gyan Kwasi II, who was the guest speaker at the launch, congratulated the company on opening the station in the region.
He said it would create employment for the indigenes and open up the town for more businesses.
The District Chief Executive for Akwapim South, Mr Kwadwo Afari-Djan, lauded the company’s efforts and assured Top Oil of the assembly’s support in terms of security to protect its investments.
Meanwhile, customers enjoyed discounts on fuel bought on the launch day, a sign of appreciation to them from management and staff of the company.
Top Oil is a private limited liability company licensed in 2004, to operate as an oil marketer. Currently, the company deals in six main petroleum products, which are petrol, diesel, kerosene, LPG, residual fuel and lubricants.
