About two months after losing his expensive Range Rover Sport Utility Vehicle to armed robbers, popular fuji musician, Wasiu Alabi Pasuma, has bought another car recently.
Sources close to the musician told our correspondent that he acquired an expensive Hummer SUV.
But Pasuma may have decided not to expose the vehicle to the public yet. The musician may be scared of risking another encounter with robbers.
Pasuma’s Range Rover, with registration number, MUS 830 AP, was snatched from him at gunpoint in May. Following the theft, the President of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Chief Gani Adams, had ordered his men to conduct a comprehensive search for the vehicle in some places suspected to be hideouts for hardened criminals in Lagos.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Lagos State, Mr. Tunde Sobulo, allegedly took personal interest in the robbery incident and ordered his men to embark on a comprehensive search for the vehicle. Yet, it was not found.
