Hearts are planning to gazump Kotoko’s bid for New Edubiase duo Asiedu Atobrah and Abeiku Ainooson.

Negotiations between Kotoko and Edubiase for the two players have stalled due to the inability of the two parties to agree on a fee.

Hearts have entered the race to sign the player as they are ready to meet the player’s valuation.

Media reports have claimed officials of both teams have held preliminary discussions and could see the capital-based club pull off a massive transfer coup in the coming days.

Edubiase chief Abdul Salam Yakubu had insisted in the past that he will sell the players to ONLY Kotoko if they fail to land a a deal abroad.

It is however unclear what might have changed for them to have opened negotiations with Hearts over the potential sale of the players.

The Accra-based side have the cash to spend with majority shareholder Togbe Afede having made funds available to augment the squad.

Edubiase want a combined fee of $100,000 for the two players.
