Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew has no intention of pushing for a move away from Marseille despite being linked with a move away from the French club.
Speculation has once again suggested that Ayew could soon be on the move, with the 21-year-old having been linked with clubs across Europe – with St Etienne said to be leading the chase.
The Ghana international is, however, tied to a contract which is due to run until 2015 and has no desire to break that agreement and try his luck elsewhere.
Ayew told L’Equipe: “I believe I have learnt to be patient. I don’t want to leave. I have everything at this club to be a success.
“You always want more, but I won’t complain. I played a lot of matches last season. My work will pay off – I don’t know when, but it will pay off.”
