A four-man team have been appointed to oversee Asante Kotoko’s player recruitment drive while the board will be reconstituted at a later date.

The team consisting board members; Alhaji Lamine, Jerry Asare, Alhaji Ahmed Bandoh and Opoku Nti were handed the mandate during a meeting at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi Friday.

The club owner Otumfour Osei Tutu II was unable to attend the meeting and was represented by his Chief of Staff Kofi Badu to chair the meeting.

The Asantehene was expected to make sweeping changes in the club’s administration following the increasing confusion within the camp of the Premier League champions.

But the revered overlord decided against making radical changes – rather opting to tinker with the club’s current administrative structure.

There will however be major changes effected within the board but at a later date.

The staff on the administrative front at the secretariat remains intact – meaning Ben Nti retains his position as the Administrative Manager.

The club is also to place advertisements for the position of Chief Executive Officer to handle the day-to-day administration of the club.
