Goalkeeper Razak Brimah has been handed his debut Ghana call-up

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has named three debutants in his 21-man squad to face Turkey next Wednesday in an international friendly.

According to a press statement on the Ghana FA’s official website; the untested trio includes Turkey-based striker Emmanuel Banahene, teenager Yussif Raman Chibsah and goalkeeper Razak Brimah.

Banahene, who has joined second-tier side Sanliurfaspor this season, banged in 14 goals last season on loan at Kars?yaka.

Chibsah was on loan last season at Sassuolo and helped the club to win the Serie B championship and gained automatic to the Italian top-flight.

He is co-owned by Juventus and current club Parma where will play this season.

Goalkeeper Brimah has been regular for Spanish second-tier CD Guadalajara where he joined in November last year.

His exploits earned him a contract extension after impressing in 25 appearances in the Segunda Division.

Also named in the Black Stars are regular faces goalkeepers Fatau Dauda and Adam Kwarasey who is missed June’s double-header against Sudan and Lesotho in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Right-back Daniel Opare is also making a return to the team after an early purple-patch of form at Standard Liege.

Last season’s Ghana  Premier League goal king Mahatma Otoo has been invited and Dominic Adiyiah has maintained his place in the team as well.

The match will be played at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
