Mr Justice Joe Appiah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma North, has appealed to Muslim youth not to allow themselves to be used by politicians to create any chaos.
He entreated leaders in Muslim communities in the country to use the Eid-Ul-Fitr to pray for peace and to as well advice the youth not to allow themselves to be negatively influenced by any politician.
Mr Appiah made the appeal in Accra on Thursday when he presented bags of rice, bags of sugar and cartons of milk to the Muslim communities in his constituency to mark the festival.
“Ghana does not belong to any politician but to all of us and so let nobody entice you with money to engage in activities that could jeopardize the peace and security of the nation,” he said.
Mr Appiah said the youth should rather expose politicians who would make any attempt to use them to achieve their selfish interests to the detriment of the majority.
