Asante Kotoko’s Administrative Manager Ben Nti insists he remains at post despite widespread perceptions he has slapped in his resignation.

The Ghana Premier League champions were rocked with the shocking resignation of Executive Chairman Dr. Desmond Sarpong.

The chartered accountant’s resignation was followed up with that of Marketing Manager Listowell Yesu Bukarson.

International Relations Manager Kwame Baah-Nuakoh is also said to have resigned from his post but there is so far no official notification to that effect.

Administrative Manager Ben Nti – one of the hardworking loyalists of Dr. Sarpong is widely rumoured to have also slapped in his resignation – a trend that has virtually brought the administration of the club on its knees.

But Nti has dismissed these rumours of his resignation and assures of his continued determination to see the club through the difficult period.

“I have not resigned. I have and still working for the club,” he told Metro941.com.

“These rumours making rounds of my resignation are not true.

“The club finds itself in a difficult situation and we need every single dedicated Kotoko person to help get the club regain stability and to make further progress.”

The recent confusion is already taking its toll on the club.

The youth team of the Porcupine Warriors are struggling to obtain visas to honour an invitation of Sunderland to hold a training tour in the UK.
