Sarah evicted from Vodafone ICONS Street Edition

Sarah, on previous occasions, escaped two evictions

Sarah’s stint in the ongoing Vodafone ICONS reality came to a sorrowful end last Sunday night.

She found herself in the bottom two – contestants with the least number of votes – with Marion.

Sarah was unfortunately evicted from the competition after judges, Miss Naa and Gena West, opted to save Marion with only Appietus deciding to keep her in the competition.

Marions’ appearance at the bottom two surprised many as her splendid performance so far has had many tip her as a potential winner.

Last week’s performances were themed Old School and it saw the contestants perform songs from some of the 1980s and 1990s music greats.

The show witnessed performances from Kool & The Gang, Paul Simon, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Montel Jordan, MC Hammer and Whitney Houston.

Kelvin performed Paul Simon’s Call Me Al while Seed rocked with Let’s Go Dancing by the Kool & The Gang.

Zakia impressed with Tina Turner’s Simply the Best as Ryan sung This Is How We Do It by Montel Jordan.

Marion performed Whitney Houston’s I’m Every Woman followed by Buda’s captivating U Can’t Touch This by MC Hammer.

Evicted Sarah capped the night’s performances with Gladys Knight’s Midnight Train To Georgia.

After the exciting performances, the judges admitted that Zakia’s voice had improved and her stage performance was her major strength.

It was Seed, who however impressed the judges. They stated that his performance was good. Miss Naa also admitted that Kelvin’s performance was flawless.
