Mohammed Rabiu has been linked with Russian Kuban Kransnodar

Evian TG ace Mohammed Rabiu has been linked to Russian side Kuban Kransnodar, Sports Daily has reported. 

The Ghana midfielder, who has more than a year on his current contract, has refused an  extension and could be released by the French Ligue 1 side.

Rabiu has been targeted by clubs after an impressive debut season in the French top-flight.

Ligue 1 clubs Marseille, Lyon and Lille are hugely interested in his services likewise foreign clubs Fulham and Benfica.

Evian coach Pascal Dupraz has already prepared to work without the enterprising midfielder this season.

The 23-year-old made 28 appearances last season and scored two goals.

Rabiu featured in all of Ghana’s matches at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where the Black Stars placed fourth.
