Medeama have tasked coach Hans Van der Pluijm to win the Premier League and make the group stage in their maiden African campaign.

The Dutch trainer joined the Mauves this offseason after ending his stay with Berekum Chelsea.

The 68-year-old has already began work with the Tarkwa-based club and has currently presiding over a two-day justify-your-inclusiuon exercise.

The former Heart of Lions coach has however been mandated to secure the club’s first ever Premier League title in the coming season.

He is also to lead the side to at least the group stage of the CAF Confederations Cup – a first ever African appearance by Medeama following success in the FA Cup competition.
