Milan midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng believes that their 2-0 loss to Chelsea will stand them in good stead for the season to come.
The Rossoneri were defeated by the Premier League club in the Guinness International Champions Cup on Sunday.
But the Ghana international has insisted that playing against such a strong team will be an advantage.
“Chelsea are a strong team so it was a good test for us,” he told MilanNews. “Certainly we are disappointed about the defeat, but it was a good experience.
“It’s a good training session ahead of the Champions League qualifiers we have to play.
“My goal is to better last season, and we’re all working hard to do that.”
