Ghanaian starlet Bismark Adjei-Boateng came off the substitute bench to score the fourth goal for Stromsgodset as they booked a patchy 4-2 away victory over struggling Sarpsborg 08 in the Norwegian top-flight on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Manchester City loanee was introduced as a 57th minute substitute for opening goal-getter Simen Brenne and he did the most important thing by scoring the game’s sixth goal seven minutes from time.
Stromsgodset took a 2-1 lead but the hosts levelled the scoring in the course of the second half.
Andre Storbak restored their lead in 55th minute but it was the versatile midfielder who made the points safe for the travellers, who have been toppled from the summit of the Norwegian Eliteserien.
Nana Boateng’s form has been crucial for Stromsgodset this season as she has scored eight crucial goals, seven in the league and one in the Uefa Europa League.
