Aduana Stars have confirmed Ghana giants Heart of Oak have officially bid to sign defender Godfred Saka, Ghanasoccernet.com can confirm.
The Fire Club are keen to hold on to the exciting full-back but a flock of club including AshGold, Medeama, Kotoko and a couple of foreign club are on the wheels of the former Right to Dream Academy graduate.
However Hearts are leading the pack to sign the versatile defender with Saka confirming he would relish a move to 20-time Ghana Premier League title winners.
George Gyawu, Aduana’s Operations Manager confirms the Dormaa-based side have already considered Hearts’ bid and will respond to the Phobians in due course.
“Yes we have received Hearts’ bid and sat over it and the appropriate response would be sent back to Hearts through the club’s CEO Kofi Manu,” he said.
AshGold are pursuing Saka with great relish but the defender seems to be focused on a move to Accra.
