12 finalist have been unveiled for the National Arts Competition.
The finalists who were picked from hundreds of entries received from across the country with a variety of interpretations of the theme: ‘IDENTITY: Who do you think you are’, were presented on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at a ceremony jointly hosted by Nigerian Breweries and African Artistes Foundation (AAF).
According to the NB PLC’s CSR & Sustainability Manager, Emete Tonukari, ‘the competition is part of the company’s effort to encourage and promote the development of creativity, the arts and artists in Nigeria’.
The winner of the competition will be announced in a grand finale and judging ceremony which will take place on November 24, 2013 at Art21, Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos.
