Berekum Chelsea will begin preparations for the upcoming season on 10 August, the club have confirmed.
The 2011 Ghana Premier League champions will have three-weeks to sharpen their arsenals for the 2013/2014 campaign.
Newly-appointed head coach Tony Lokko will be working with his players in Berekum.
“The new date was reached so that our muslim players would have finished with their Ramadan fasting and the Eid’ul Fitr celebrations,” CEO Obed Nketiah told the club’s official website.
The Blues finished second in last season’s campaign and will play in the 2014 CAF Champions League qualifiers.
Berekum Chelsea’s first assignment will be the GHALCA Top 4 tournament which will be played between 1-22 September.
