As the night fades and a new morning beams with light, the essence of protecting our peace after the Supreme Court’s final verdict has been a prime message preached by politicians.
Latest to spread the news is Madam Otiko Djaba. As National Women’s Organizer for the NPP, she believes it would be profitable for Ghanaians to add value to the nation by simply working hand in hand to ensure the peace of the nation is protected.
As the nation awaits the nine justices to give their ruling, Madam Otiko Djaba is of the view that these are urgent times and all must be responsible in the way we “talk”. According to her, there is absolutely no reason for the nation to shed blood to elect a president.
In an interview with Okay FM, she urged parents to counsel their wards especially the youth to abhor violence. She expressed faith in our security forces and tasked the media and all stakeholders to work towards protecting the peace of the nation.
She finally prayed that our justices give a judgment that would consolidate the peace we have.
