Ghanaian international, Kwadwo Asamoah, says he is happy with his goal against Everton but that neither he nor Juventus are at full strength.

The Bianconeri were defeated 6-5 on penalties in the opening match of the Guiness International Champions Cup following a 1-1 draw against the Toffees after 90 minutes.

Asamoah scored a magnificent strike to cancel out Kevin Mirallas’ effort and he said it was a strike he didn’t hesitate in hitting.

“It was a beautiful goal,” he said after the game. “The ball came to my foot, the left one, and I did not think twice about kicking it.

“The last few days of working is paying off. I feel good, but myself and the team are still not 100% yet.”

Everton’s triumph means Juventus’ Guinness International Champions Cup experience will continue in Los Angeles against the losers of tomorrow’s clash between L.A. Galaxy and Real Madrid.
