If NDC Members Will Reason Like Me, There Won’t Be Blood Shed – Y.B. Gyan

As the nation waits to hear the final verdict to be given by the Supreme Court, various politicians and stakeholders have expressed concern about protecting the peace of Ghana.

The National Organizer for the NDC, Mr. Yw Boateng Gyan believes violence isn’t the solution to any problem. He holds the view that should the Supreme Court ruling go against his party, it shouldn’t be the catalyst to charge NDC members to go for machetes to oppose the decision.

“If majority of our party members would reason like me, I don’t believe our minds would be filled with violence. Even if the case goes against us, we wouldn’t go in for machetes…”, he said.

In an interview with Okay FM, Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan declared that no one would want to see “this nation plunge into chaos”. He revealed that the NDC wouldn’t want to go to the extent of starting a fight in the country should the ruling go against them.

He seized the opportunity to also caution members in the New Patriotic Party not to take advantage of the process to create confusion in the country should their expectations elude them. According to him, should the Supreme Court in its wisdom decide that the NDC has to continue serving office; the NPP has no reason to destabilize the peace of this country.
