Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani is set to cancel a planned trip to Manchester City for a coaching course after his appointment onto a three-man Interim Management Team.

The club’s owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II took the decision to hand him an administrative role after the King dissolved the 12-man board of directors on Tuesday.

Dramani was reportedly going to be sacked by the erstwhile Dr. Sarpong led administration despite leading the side to a successful Premier League defence.

He had therefore lined up a trip to the UK to undergo a coaching course with Man City in anticipation of his dismissal from Kotoko.

But the recent changes made by the club owner to name Dramani as a member of an interim management team to steer the affairs of the club have altered the plan of the astute tactician.

He will now abandon his project with Man City in order to adequately perform his by preparing the team for the upcoming season.

Dramani will oversee all issues of player transfer as he looks to strengthen the side for the new campaign.

The former Right to Dream Academy coach joined the Porcupine Warriors at the beginning of last season on an initial two-year contract.

He however came under heavy criticisms following the side’s early exit on their return to the CAF Champions League for which he was rumoured to being prepared for the sack.
