Marseille could be without their Ghanaian winger Andre Ayew when they take on Italian side Parma in a friendly on Wednesday because of a slight hamstring injury, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.
The 23-year-old was unable to train with the side on Tuesday afternoon because of the hamstring concern.
However, he was part of coach Elie Baup’s squad that travelled to Italy for the pre-season friendly.
Doctors say he could recover to play in the match but if the thigh proves painful he will rested for the game.
The decision to play him in the match will be taken on Wednesday afternoon.
Should he miss the match, the Ghanaian resume training on Thursday.
