IES one-week Management programme ends in Canada

Institute of Executive Studies (IES) in partnership with the Dewey Institute for Professional Training has trained managers from top organizations in Ghana.

The attendees from Ghana arrived in Canada on 24th July 2013 and were taken through advanced techniques and tools used by some of the world’s most successful managers in creating value innovations in their organizations.

The programme was geared towards promoting advanced leadership for managers through the use of high-class advanced management techniques and practical field trips to successful organizations in Canada for a hands-on understanding of how such organizations create value innovations across their operations.

In a real world simulation, participants were made to apply knowledge acquired throughout the programme to formulate strategic plan and execution framework for their organizations.

Mr.Christopher Akwaa-Mensah, Registrar at the University of Winneba, who is one of the attendees, said time was running out for managers and organizations that rely on traditional tools and methods of management which recycles the same strategies year after year without any value innovation.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Executive Studies, Ghana, Mr. Philip Gamey, encouraged all participants to use the proprietary frameworks they learned to define and implement an agenda to enhance performance in their organisationsand also thanked Canadian Embassy in Ghana for positively responding in a short period to make the travel possible.

Dr. Lachman Tarachand, who is the Vice President and a Facilitator of the Dewey Educational Group in Canada during the presentation of Certificates, reiterated the need for attendees to disregard the competition and move towards a system of continuously creating and delivering value for their consumers by innovating constantly.
